The company have been trading 25 years apparently !
I was ill so they got a squad in and this is on £1 million apartments - all sold- but now I’ve been asked to try and salvage something. I’ll give them 3 days then that’s it!

Came home to this mess last night. Totally and utterly gutted.

Window reveal is a total mess, tiles on the ledge cut short and the gap stuffed with grout. Tiles not flush with trim anywhere. None of the trim is straight/level, stepped tiles, messy/jagged cuts, chipped corners, gap at top of wall again stuffed with grout.

He's had £1000 deposit as they were doing the full bathroom re-fit. We supplied all bathroom fixtures, tiles, adhesive, grout and trim.
We had stripped the room and removed all the old tiles. They supplied plumbing stuff.

They have reboarded two of the walls (room is 2.5 x 2m), installed new plumbing for over-bath shower, moved bathroom tap and bath waste, sunk pipes/waste into wall for wall hung vanity sink, moved plumbing for towel radiator and fitted bathroom suite.
There are still issues with the bathroom itself including. They didn't fit the bath against a wooden frame so once full it's drops. Even though they tiled off the bath edge, they tried telling us we needed tile trim(!) along the edge as it gives a better finish, silicone bead would look messy. The bath side panel is loose. They siliconed along the bottom of the bath panel/floor. The silicone is messy and made worse by the bath panel moving before it went off. LOADS TO PUT RIGHT!

There’s everything to put right, trim around bath as silicone looks messy!!!! How do they think trim will stop water?

Is it through a showroom that you employed these cowboys?

No, it was via MyBuilder....They had loads of great feedback. We had four companies quote and they were the the second most expensive. He wanted to come back and fix things today....including PVC window trim to cover that ugly *** chunk of grout on the window ledge.....Not a chance!!

The worst of the tiling on the window wall, around the boxed in cistern. Would it be a big job to take those tiles down and re-do it bearing in mind you'd have to work round the now installed bathroom?
