Kitchen Floor Ply Base

I'm not sure I can get hold of the pre mixed down here so if I can only get the sbr I'd have to mix it with a addy!?

I've not mixed one up for a while but isn't I think it's 50 50 mix, acrylic primer and water then a handful of adhesive

Going back to the kitchen with ply just jotting the quote up now I'm allowing 4 days 7/8m2 total I'm guessing the rip up and prep will take me a day to do Wats your views !?

Should be ripped out in a day, depends whether the ply is nailed or screwed.
I use a big mutt pro & a little mutt, both from ScrewFix, they will batter through the nails & prise the ply up.

For the 8m floor? Including taking up old tiles and ply and re boarding. For me 400 - 450 labour. Plus materials

I'm slightly higher but I'm allowing another day I recon I'd break into a 4th just to replace kickboards clean up tiles as in buff up the kitchen is a l shape so there's a couple tricky cuts prob will be setting out in brickbond also

Could I mix this primer with a rapid set flex bagged addy!?

50/50 mix !?would a ceramic or porcalin stick to this type of base with out priming!?just so I no for future jobs🙂

I've tiles straight to it & also primed it then tiled.
Depends how long it's left for before tiling & if any dust or that gets on the surface.

I've also primed & tiled onto bitumen & I've never had any problems..........just wouldn't latex onto it, slurry coat first - ( always )

I think you could also use Mapei Eco prim grip, would just check that with Mapei technical first just to be sure.....
