Hi,
I've just seen patches of tile backer board with patches where something looks to have melted the foam leaving the mesh. Anyone have any idea what could've caused this and whether they need to be replaced?
Much appreciated.

Hi, first time I’m posting 👋🏽
I’m after some advice please.
Is this area going to need plastering before tiling or will tile backerboards be ok to use? Not looking for a quick fix as I want to do it properly but I know plastering will delay the tiling.
Thanks ☺️
