Newbie Tiler in East Mids

Hi folks,

I've been on the forum for a while but mainly just for tips when tiling bathrooms, floors, splash backs etc for friends and family. After coming to the realisation that I love tiling and hate my day job I decided to enrol on a course at UK Pro Tiling Training in Hartlepool (incredible course by the way). I'm now starting up on my own so I'm sure the questions will come thick and fast from now on!

I've no idea to be honest. I know aluminium shouldn't be in contact with cement but have never thought what the reaction is - see, terrible teacher
