The Legend; Phil Hobson RIP

All the students at my last training center asked the instructor what he thought on laser levels? He thought they were useless & a waste of money, better off with a spirit level.

It depends on the type of laser you go for, A good brand is essential imo. They are accurate and save lots of time. If your instructor can match their accuracy with the top of range spirit level (Stabila) imo he is very good. I have used both methods, and prefare a good laser:thumbsup: The most accurate method for me is a water level, especially in multiple room areas. The Egyptians used this method to build the pyramids, thats good enough for me.

Yes a laser is good kit but also a tradesmen should be able to use a spirit level as well.. Hand/eye skills are a must.
