split face tiles mitreing?

Hi all,

A customer is asking me to mitre split face tiles on a window wall , into the reveal to meet with a porcelain tile. I don't fancy my chances due to the differing depth of the split face (slate) tiles but just wanted to throw it out there in case anyone has any advice ? Cheers

I was hoping to be told that , I think the split face would break under too much pressure. thanks for taking time to help me:sunglasses:

Ok, that's an option, would you use a wet cutter on a 45 tilt or a grinder of some sort ?

If it is the type of split face tiles I have used not a chance in hell. The tiles are completely type thicknesses and sizes. Trying to get two tiles even remotely similar, let alone cut to a 45, it has got fail wrote all over it.

Dynamic, you need to cut through the middle or a select area of a sheet and then mitre each half so they meet

I would really like to see a picture of this done. Even cutting a simple bevel metro tile on a 45 is pretty much impossible, and that only has a 'bump' in the middle of it.
