OH, great, JUST booked myself in for December, how good is that?! Spoke to Darren and Debra, and both sounded really nice and welcoming - can't wait 🙂:hurray:

Will do, will do...thanks guys, actually getting quite nervous now, ..gosh.. to think that I'll be able to recreate that gleamingly neat smart look ... oh wowee.... and I have SO many ideas...ok, I'll stop now....but, Dave, I wouldn't have even considered doing a course like this if it wasn't for this forum, didn't really know they existed until then! Amazing.

Good luck with the course. I just got back from there last weekend, and can honestly say you'll love it. Not only are they nice people, but they know their stuff.

Hell Yeah! An absolute authority on anything tiling related now...

Well i talk a good job anyway.
Great! I never doubted it for a minute - not the talking bit, the authority bit I mean........
- and here I am, dreaming about tiles! Should I worry?

"Every great and memorable act in the history of the world is a triumph of enthusiasm. Without enthusiasm you are doomed to a life of mediocrity but with it you can accomplish miracles."

Now that is what you call a signature...

When do you start? I'm starting at NETT on 1st December. I'll be pretty much moving in there, doing the 8 day tiling, then the bathroom fitting and then the plastering one after the other. I'm really looking forward to it now!

Hi! Yes, up there on the 1st, just the four days for now and hoping, if I take to it and see the potential with my mosaics as I think I will, to do the advanced 3 day later next year. Derry /Patrick is starting on the 1st, too, so that's three of us, great fun. See you there!

The more the merrier. See you there!

I've done 3 days of the course now and Im loving it so far. As people have said in the review section, it is very fast paced but it's not too much to take in. I've learnt so much in the past 3 days and I'm not even half way through yet!

Well hello - new smilies and all seasonal, cute!

ANYHOW, the NETT tiling course was BRILLIANT!!! Hard work, intense, speedy, thorough, but loved it and having kind of withdrawal symptoms today! Darren is a brilliant teacher and managed to inspire even the most uninspired, shame he can't afford to put the blooming heating on though!

Seriously though, it's been great, learnt heaps and am now going through the tiling in our house with a brutally critical eye, poking at everyting saying that's s****, technical term forever embedded by 'THE INFLUENCE'...

Learning how to Silicon properly though was the icing on the cake for me, what a gem and could elevate any teacher to near sainthood! Can't wait to start the ensuite shower room after Christmas, a glorious mosaic that will be surrounded by perfect tiling, mitred trims and smooth as glass Silicon, oh yes.....:daisy:

I replied to your post in the feedback section... Maybe one of the Mods would be so good as to move it here, where it's more relevent? 😳
