hire station and homebase

a heads up for anyone hiring tools,,went to hire station today to hire 2 de hums for a week,cost was to be 160 a week for both of them...then the guy said heres a leaflet homebase rent our gear out much cheaper better just go outside and call them.

got the same 2 de hums for 80 quid instead plenty stuff very cheaply rented out in there pamphlet if u can get a hold of one guys

hire station also wanted a 300 deposit for each item...homebase took nothing ...nice one

hmmmmm.... Hire station is a sort of franchise, bit like interflora with florists so I'm surprised the prices would be diffrent, even more so a DIY store over a trade:mad2::mad2:

Thanks for the heads up although I very rarely hire tools as in most cases it seems not a lot more to purchase the tool anyway, only thing I can think I hire on a semi regular basis is scaffold towers

Thats very good news I had hire station (vp plc) locked in my favs as i need a few items to hire. & they where reasonable price :yikes:. I havent had a chance to get quotes yet but will do as & when

I feel a bit aggreived now , i hired a dehum last week from jewsons, and it was more than double the price of the homebase one. Exactly the same as well.
