Once sbr has been mixed with water does it then have a time scale before it goes off. Reason im asking is I normally premix my sbr into 5l bottles 3:1 and when I opened a bottle yesterday it smelt like rotten egg so didnt use it. Anyone had any problems like this?

No, never, used for a serious number of years and thats the first time I've heard that.

My names Mark but thats by and by, how long was the sbr kept in the container mixed with water...

Im sure ive been calling you neale for a while lol. Sorry mark. Probably about a couple of weeks it was a old bottle.

As CJ, not after a couple of weeks, I have some which I kept in a container for longer and no smell.

What did container have in it before you used for sbr.

May have been a residue from your old container, even though you cleaned it out that caused the smell.

I have only used original containers that had sbr.
