I've never used tiling wedges before and bought some of these. I've only used 3 of them up to now and when I came to knock them out this is how they broke off, meaning I had to Stanley knife the remainder of the plastic out of the joint. I used standard setting adhesive and left them for 3 days before knocking them out, was this too long or should I have knocked them out earlier before the adhesive had set too hard around them? I left the actual wedges in place when I knocked them out.

I find they (not these particular ones) break off better when you knock them along the grout line with the rubber handle of my hammer.

Could be excessive adhesive round the base and sides of the clip, always run the tip of a scraper down the edge of tile now.. Shouldn't really matter how long you leave them in for.. Never used those particular clips though, maybe they're not the best..

The only 2 clips I reckon are break-free are PLM and the new Genesis copies of RLS clips.
