I was wondering if this is a legal thing to do.
Was thinking of hitting the loacal DIY car parks at the weekend and popping flyers under the wipers. However of course i dont want any come backs from it if it is against the law.
Can anyone advice?

Thx

As far as I aware it's not illegal, however worst case is that the Store manager may ask you not to do it as in effect the car park is private property. You can do but try.

I was thinking of this a while back, but someone put me off saying,if people sling em on the floor,it could amount to a fair bit of litter, and you could be faced with a bill because they have your details..But saying that could be worth a try, you might get a couple of jobs out of it..Good luck whatever you choose.
Vinnie.

It would annoy the hell outa me, and go straight in the bin! But it's a pet hate of mine.. Other people might see it differently i suppose. 😉

Just write your number on the windscreen in indellable pen, they won't forget you then, and no risk of litter!

Just leave your sign written van in the car park over the weekend, then people can take your number off your van:yes:

Instead of flyers, use business cards and pop them inbetween the glass and seal above the key lock on the drivers door, people tend to just bin flyers but they will put the card in the car..

Ditto Mark, exactly what i was going to say but you beat me to it!😛rrr:

Then if dry...........pop back later when the car park is empty and collect all the ones on the floor :yikes:

Could work out expensive if you have an expensive taste in cards :dizzy2:

If a flyer has been put under my wiper it gets binned no matter what it is, i dont like the fact that some ones been to my vehicle lifting the wiper blade, the card in the seal would be better IMO.

If you're thinking of flyers for putting on cars at DIYstores, I would design one entitled METRIC/IMPERIAL CONVERSION CHART. Put all the conversions on it then stick your business details in the middle, so it is not practical to take scissors to this area.

Make it A4 or A5.

In short, your details should be on something that is useful to keep.

I could always wait until the sun shines and put some magnetic signs on my car, as it always draws a bit of attention 😛unk:
