Do these tiles need sealing or similar?

Hi everyone, just a quick question, hopefully straightforward.

Do these need sealing as per the advice on the Topps site?: Chic Craquele Tiles | Topps Tiles

I'm using the brick shaped ones in a shower, tanked with WP1 and using bal rapidset flex and norcross grout as I had good results with these in the other bathroom.

They are glazed ceramic with a cracked finish.

Any advice appreciated
Cheers

Some tile manufacturers recommend sealing before fitting as well. Even dirty water from a sponge can be absorbed in to the biscuit

I would use Fila Polished Porcelain Protector or lithofin kf stainstop before grout if you cut any on wet saw need to seal them day before and dont draw cutting lines with black pencil before you cut them in wet saw it will soak under glaze

make sure you have got very clean water and very clean sponge any dirt will go under glaze before sealing

My supplier always recommends to seal crackle glaze tiles, I use Drytreat Metacreme

Thanks everyone for the replies.

Just been to buy the tiles, turns out they are glazed over the crackles so are smooth to the touch despite being crackled looking. Looks like they won't need sealing after all, the topps salesman pointed this out , contrary to the advice on the website.

Cheers
