So I had to seal some slate the other week which I did with a paint brush. Just wondered if there was a better method? (I used the Tile Rite stone sealer) and applied 2 coats and then tested with a whiteboard marker on a spare off cut.

So certain sealers aren't suitable for particular areas?I use a small roller, be careful some foam rollers will fall apart with sealers.
make sure the slate is clean and dry before you start and make sure the sealer is suitable for the area the slate is being used in.
I’ll grab some lithothin tomorrow as I need to seal some Quartz mosaic and some large unpolished porcelainsIn the future I would probably recomend using a company like lithofin or ltp or universeal who specialise in stone and tile finishing only . Personally I find some of the drying times of the fila ranges to slow
go buy yourself some cheap white cotton towels.And use a damp microfibre cloth to wipe off residue?
It is Julian. I've not found a scenario where it is not a better product.your right about the quartz but did you post that comment in the right thread?
arr you saying universal is more usable then Lithofin?
