Internal Corner between 2 different stones

I have a project where the travertine is intersecting a laid-up stone with a rough surface. What is the best way to seal/construct this joint? Mitered? Silicon-sealed? Metal profile? Thanks!

i would use a metal profile as it would also act as an expansion and look neater

Or you could use an expansion joint.

Fill the joint with Silicon and leave to set, trim flush with a knife once set..
