how do i clean black porcelain tiles

hi there i was wondering if anyone could help...Ive recently had my bathroom completly done in black and cream porcelain tiles and i cant seem to clean them without them drying white. the tiles are of a slate texture so are relatively hard to clean anyway. The grout also is grey. can anyone advise....please:mad2:

As for your problem....are they through bodied porcelain..?

That sounds like the tiles were not sealed/cleaned properly when first laid..

may sound extreme, but if you have access to an orbital sander, try buffing them with a dry felt pad

through bodied means that the biscuit ie the clay body of the tile is the same colour right through, from the back to the face

Bendibird.try using a haze remover....something like lithofin cement away or ltp grimex..

Once you get th em clean and dry then seal them...use lithofin FZ impregnator or ltp MPG sealer.
