Funny on Google maps

Near where i live we have a very exclusive private road near the golf club. Now i have worked up there a few times and towards the end of the road there is sort of a cross roads but the middle intersection is huge compared with the roads. Well everytime i go up there in the middle of the intersection lies a dog...its always there..never moves as you drive around it, so i thought i wonder if i looked on google maps would i be able to see it.
Anyway these days you can find the address you require and even get a 3d view and do a virtual look around.

So was the dog there ?

Where were you when they did the photos? I was at home so it seems...car is on the drive.

I saw the Google Streetview car with the camera on top drive up the road and turn around outside my house. Though it's still not been added to their database yet. Me and the Mrs ran to the door and waved loads 🙂 - would be funny if we were on there.

Ozboz a tf member, lives in oz but works over here. I was on Google earth a couple of months back looking at Australia. I couldn't remember the name of the town my mate lived in, but I knew it was Gold coast. As I was scrolling the map this name popped up Jimboomba, I remembered this was the town. I phoned my mate to ask his address He told me and I found it, I asked him does your house have a green roof? he said yes, I asked does your neighbour have a white roof? he says yes Why? I say Your wife is stood at the door. Spooky:yikes:

A site labourer for David Wilson homes spotted the google car the other month and pulled a moonie when it went past. He got his butt on google street view lol!

But the press found out, ran a story in the paper with the picture, and he was sent home!

Was on another D Wilsons site the other day, and a plasterer was showing me the paper 😀
