1st- when doing a kitchen splashback, when finishing off do you have to silicone around the bottom where the tiles sit on the worktop??

2nd- are there any methods when using adhesive to mix in the wall sealant with it so you dont have to wait for the walls to dry before tiling ?

thanks ..

Priming with an acrylic primer will be dry very quickly so not waiting time. Also yes you need to silicone that joint.

The tiles shouldn’t sit on the worktop.

I usually push a small Rubi wedge under the tile slightly to space it off.
