I'm totally out of beer, so all set for the christmas beer to get in :drool5:
I usually pick up some new beer glasses at this time of year too as bud etc put them in packs.
Anyone get anything nice in yet?
I have a liking for Heineken and Harp but Bud and the German wheat beers come my way too.

same thought crossed my mind last night joe,to be honest i havent noticed any huge offers on alcohol yet in the supermarkets...maybe yet to come

it will be a few cases of ciser and vodka for me
oh and the old glayva for new year

I always buy in for visitors too but end up with a load after it all so this year i'm thinking wisely and just buy what i like...:8:

got 48 bottles of stella from tesco for £25 yesterday ...........might need to get some more before crimbo, and some strongbow.....and maybe a bottle of wine for the wife..(if shes lucky)...

Absolutely no idea.. still got some Baileys from last year and some random bottles standing about I'm sure my son and his wife will be glad to polish off...

do you drink baileys g? ive got a great recipe for home made baileys made with tia maria....females seem to prefer the taste of the tia maria one

this is the recipe i used ,there are lots on the internet that include egss and fresh cream which will make it thicker and enrichen it but it wont last more than the cream date remember

this recipe lasta 2 months sealed in fridge and if you dont like tia maria change it to whisky

1 tbsp glycerin
1 tin condensed milk
1 cup strong cold black coffee(instant)
1 cup tia maria
1 tsp vanilla essence

mix all with whisk vigorously and bottle in cleaned bottles in fridge

this recipe is thinner than standard baileys but very nice

to early to get it in yet id just drink it all ,and would have to get it all in again, i fin work on 21st so will get it then lad coming down from scotland on 22nd for a few days , he usually stops all crimbo but he,s of to canary isles , on boxing day with there lass , shall have a few days on razzle with him

glycerin isnt that great a laxative anyway, its mild i think...id be more likely to use it for a sore throat lol

does that mean i talk sh@@e?

lol

I have the odd few bottles of red wine ( well, the odd dozen actually, I'm Scottish ) for the festivities. Just have to be careful when I drink it as I'll be providing a taxi service, more than likely, for my son and daughter. They've reached that age where they are doing the kind of things that I used to get up to.
