Bathroom tiling adhesive and clips advice. advice and

I have been asked to tile my cousins bathroom and it will be my first time using 300x 600 ceramic for the wall. The tiles are going on a skimmed wall which is in good nick, can anybody reccomend a decent slow setting adhesive to use for this please. And also is it worth using clips to get them good, it's not a huge area but I do struggle with lippage because I'm still very much a learner. I haven't said yes to doing it yet but I am keen to try it for some experience, any advice on the above or anything else I should consider? Thanks

Tilemaster setaflex standard set is a good adhesive to use.
In regards to clips each member has there own preference mine personally is perfect level master.
Thanks! Does the setaflex have a decent working time, I've just done some travetine for someone and the adhesive they supplied went off so quickly it really caused me some headaches!!! I was vying toward perfect level master.

Skimmed walls generally appear good till you get a straight edge on them, especially around the windows, spend some time doing this and after priming skimming out any dips with adhesive..it'll save you a lot of headaches later on

Agreed I will have a good check, they are ready to move in and unfortunately have left the bathroom until last so they are in a rush to get it done I'm going to tile their kitchen but I'm unsure about the bathroom walls above the bath, I was going to SBR the walls then tile but should I waterproof the walls for the over bath shower??
