want to buy new cutter currently using genisus 600mm large format which purchased when on my course last year. cuts fine on most jobs but want something more substantial to do all, especially some of the harder porcelain tiles we are starting to encounter what cutters do you recommend dont mind spending a bit more for quality!

use a ts 700 plus or my monti can't remember which model as I have so many now but good for all sizes

Hi mate i also have the genisis cutter but when i was working on site last year the tiler i was working with bought a Sigma, really good cutters, takes a bit getting used to though as you know with the Genisis you push and snap with the Sigma you have to pull and snap. Cheers

try one of these mate, the small ome's the tx700

Doug, Holy smokes whats the large one the TX 1200N?? What do you make of it? I use the TR 600 and love it (well nearly) but its getting too small for alot of jobs now

Im being asked more and more to fix tiles 900 or 1m and they are a pain in the wet cutter, especially porcelian. I see Dave at TT has the 1200 for £535, its a faie wedge more than the 900.

that's the beast Davey, as yourself, getting asked to fix flags to walls more and more these days so had to put the order in with Dave @TT.Once you get over the weight of the thing and get it set up and cutting it's a dream compared to wet cutting or angle grinding!:hurray:

I have the sigma 3B for most jobs,63cm cut,and cuts everything!
Then my sigma 3D,93cm cuts the bigger stuff,
wet saw cuts all the tasty stuff, lol.
