Fingers not splitting for me, just starting to go numb in the morning until ive fixed a couple of walls lol
Mine have started to split from having adhesive on then, even if ts only for a few hours. Have to wear latex gloves now which took some getting used to. Strange as it never bothered me for years

Travis have o'keeffs on their counters too.
It's ok, but none of that seems to work for me.
I either use Germoline New Skin or just use 3m's Micro Pore to bind them after they split. Normally seal up within 24hrs.
Been wearing latex gloves for few yrs now, u get used to it.
Black Mamba's are the best, real heavy duty, can make 2-3 pairs last all day.
Regular Nitriles, I get thro up to 6 pairs a day easily.
Buy Black Mamba's in wrong place tho and they cost a fortune. 🙁

Yeh , remember when you had to break the ice on the top of water butt that had all those quarry tiles soaking before fixing.

nothing to do with adhesive when I get kins/hacks/splits whatever we call them wherever we are in UK, it's polished or honed natural stone that causes mine to split.
