That is shocking practice Ray!......saying that I was well & truly gobsmacked when I was ripping out a bad tiling job just before xmas......all walls dot & dabbed like that & part of the floor was layed with bucket adhesive....like acrylic wall tile adhesive!!!.....WHAT!!!'......

its the second builder hes employed on his refurbishment and extension . couldn't get photos of the floor befor I got him to take it up as light to bad. have now levelled the floor 35mtrs used 34 bags of leveller the reason he gave for dob and dab is the floor was running out by 40mm over 8 mtrs

Like I said, a builder, I've just lost a job to join up an extension to an existing floor that I've already done about 4 years ago. They've invited the same builder back to lay 14m to join up with existing floor who built the extension and didn't put the floor levels the same. Doesn't really bode well does it. Anyway good luck them is what I say.

that Is bad! surely if the floor was that bad, an old school sand and cement screed wouldn't have went a miss?
