I know a lot of you will say charge by day rate but I want numbers . I only say this as I feel on certain jobs some of you more experienced guys and gals will do a job 2+ days quicker than me, therefore if we charged the same day rate I will earn loads more because I'm slow lol

Went in at 180, jobs mine. Its starting to pick up now but because of the tiling alongside the freight forwarding I've had an 80 hour week. Love it

In response to your 1st post in this thread - You should be charging a competitive but fair price that both you and your customer are happy with!
There is no reason that a customer should pay more for inexperience and additional time, unless you can provide the extra value that can be brought to a job with care and attention.
In response to your 2nd post in this thread - That would seem to be a reasonable price for the job as described, so now you should enjoy the experience and build up a porfolio.
Good luck.

my thoughts exactly john. I have undercharged in the past to assure I got job knowing the potential of more work coming from it. Quite a lot coming in at the min so happy days
