I removed the wax strips from black polished porc(time black from tileflair) and used ltp grimex to try and remove the marks, the top layer wiped off but i cannot remove the two lines in each tile, , thanks in advance.

sorry no pics but there are dark streaks through the tiles where the wax strips came off and these wont come off

Have you contacted TileFlair? If so, what was their advice on the matter?

I'd suspect if grimex isn't working on it, it's going to be hard to get off. I'd be interested in hearing the outcome of this for future reference.

Anybody else got any suggestions?

I could go out and buy numerous products but im going back to tileflair and see what they can come up with, thanks for the replys

get Tileflair to buy the products for cleaning. they sold you the tiles in good faith to start with.

mike 111 rang me ,tile flair told him why not fix the tiles ,when its done hire a buffing machine, see if you can buff the mark out, they also instructed that theses tiles dont need a sealant, :mad2:

omg :yikes:

that's fine if they're paying for the buffing machine and a professional tile restorer to come in and do the work :mad2:

mike, take them back and ask for a refund. if the ones on display don't have those marks in them, then why should you accept a batch of tiles that does :incazzato:

All sorted now, tileflair tried to remove marks to no avail, so got a full refund, picking up some different tiles in the morning, out of pocket for today and messing around getting more tiles:mad2: also asked them about ltp solvex, they said not to be used on polished porc.

I think a product that i use may work on this Aqua mix Sealing and coating remover or may maybe a heavy duty tile and grout work brilliant for me:smilewinkgrin:

that sucks id be suprised if buffing will lift it if its penetrated try some form of solvent on a spare tile it might work:8:
