I have some nice travertine to fix soon.

I was wondering what sealers everyone is using at the moment. I was thinking a nice satin sealer or a matt as the client wishes however I would like your opinions on brands and the actual look of the satin sealer once applied.

Thanks peeps

I am of the same opinion dave, I think I may give the fila a go. The lady of the clean house is clean mad, so I dont think a topical sealer would be a good shout, her cleaner doesnt speak english so will have to get a printed translation of NO BLEACH EVER for her instruction on this small floor.

Recently used lithofin stain stop Cam, really nice to use and dries lovely. I usually use LTP matt stone and the lithofin is a nicer product.

Can I get Lithofin here in Spain ( no my Google isn't working)
I've just sealed a slate terrace but it looks a bit "wet" for me 20150609_133832.jpg

Mn stainstop although travertine is one of the few natural stones we can grout unsealed without fear of picture framing

Dry Treat if you can find it. 2 coats, 20 minutes or so apart. Or, 2 coats, 1 before grout, 1 after. 15 year warranty against staining if maintained correctly. Treats practically all porous surfaces without altering the appearance. Marvellous stuff. I would also have no hesitation recommending Lithofin Stainstop. I tend to give a good coat before grout then saturation method 3 or 4 days after.
