A week on Monday our collaboration starts @timeless john me in person, and you attending via FaceTime. Here’s the plan.

Lay the whole lot out
Seal them with 50/50 white spirit linseed mix.
Seal again straight after with neat linseed leaving no excess.
Using mini roller.
Fit tiles with rapid grey
Grout with sand and cement, final wash off
with grout residue remover.
Next day re seal with oil, no excess.
Leave 48 hours
Wax them, applying with cloth and buffing with a clean cloth

It’s been years since I used sand/cement for terracotta.
Is it silver sand and white cement? Fairly dry, and cut in.....then struck off with something??

I finished off the second area of this last week, I used regular cement and silver sand which took some finding! Semi dry and washed off.
