Hello

I've trawled forums and read the Mapei Primer G packaging etc but not sure I've got 100% comfort on this one and hopefully it's basic...

Is this product suitable for bare brick/masonry walls?

Most documentation seems to refer to plaster/plywood/screeds etc so just want to be clear. Essentially I am looking to prime the walls before bedding STS foam backer boards with keraquick (will also be adding mechanical fixings).

I believe applying 1:3 with water then a second coat 1:1 (or neat?) is the way forward but please correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanks in advance
