reeeeet,,ive been to atrade day agea ago where pci were flogging this stuff as a substitute for ply,,,,and since have seen a local shop sell it by the metre from a roll and are teling me tilers are laying it on top of ply floors,,isnt this a crack isolation membrane? and if do its pointless laying it on ply floors?
 
It's just an un-coupling membrane such as Ditra so yes, use on any surface prone to lateral movement :thumbsup:
 
It has all the functions of Ditra or Dural except it isn't a vapour equalisation/waterproof membrane..hence no good for high moisture green screeds..
 
Very true - and it needs to be used in conjunction with Seccoral to provide a waterproof membrane but is a very strong un-coupling membrane in it's own right:thumbsup:
