i have quite a number of joints to open up between 900x 900 x 20 mm marble as tiles abit sizey.
need a good qualkity but thin blade.
any suggestions

my supplier stone tools only have 2.5mm thick

You could try a montolit squadro??
I use it for taking the centre out a tile if there's a socket or something going in..

115 -1 25 for angle grinder .
using a montolit dna 350mm dia for dioing cuts and it cuts fine but very slight chips.
this smaller blade to open up tight joints in situ after tiles fixed.

got one of those and other montolit 115mm so will give that a goas well thanks.
this balde is very thin but almost too thin.
there does not seem to be anything between 1mm and 2.5 mm

It needs to be continuous rim to stop the chipping.

I've got

115mm at 1.3mm thick
125mm at 1.5mm thick

Just had another thought on this subject. We do these, vacuum brazed blades. I've just put a vernier on them and they are 1.5/1.6mm thick.

Most people that see these refer to the as "marble" blades, which is not technically correct but it's close.

I'm not entirely sure if or how much these would chip though. The cutting action is designed to be less aggressive than a sintered blade, it's effectively "filing" rather than cutting.

Might do the trick - we have them at 115mm and 125mm.
