After hearing the sigma dry cuts trav with ease I thought I would give it a go on a H&F trav floor I had to do...

RESULT

Three scores and a snap.

I have cut a few bits of trav on a 3bm and it was Ok. not the best cut of course as you should always use an electric machine but it cut. I have found that the trav with loads of filler will always shatter.

The quality of the travertine will obviously get better or poorer results. As for using a dry cutter then fine if it works then do it.

Sigma, can you tell me my nearest stockist please so I can go and have a play on a 900 cutter cheers

I seem to remember Tile Depot being a stockist, Sigma UK will need to confirm but Enfield is your nearest I believe.

Yes Tile Depot has them. Not sure if they will have a 900 to play around with but they will have some cutters there.
