lime scale or what ????

Hi guys,

I posted a "help me" about 4 days ago to which I have had 70 odd views and no replys, someone must have seen this before. I am a tiler down here in nz with near 12 yrs on the job and have never had this occur before.

any info would be good, I posted some photos in my original post, although they are a little blurred you can see the issue.

The silacone has also gone mouldy which has not happened to me before. I always were latex gloves when I am installing silacone so again this is a mystery..

I will replace the silacone and wish to remedy this for my client but am a little reluctant until I know what I am dealing with
