Hi,
I'm currently working on a bathroom and have stripped the walls back to brickwork with lime mortar. For the shower area my plan is to dot and dab 20mm Jackoboard onto the brickwork with Mapei Keraquick before tiling. Does the brickwork need priming for the Keraquick? I understand PVA...

Hi guys.
I'm looking for a good source for Keraquick in the Bournemouth / Christchurch area. It seems the best I can find is Screwfix but it's damned expensive (£10kg = £17).
Any recommendations gratefully received.

Hi,
I'm going to fully tile our bathroom walls using 20cm x 50cm ceramic tiles that are 7mm thick. There's 20 square meters of wall in total.
I intend using Mapei Keraquick tile adhesive.
The walls are gypsum plaster. So before tiling I will be priming the walls with Mapei Primer-g.
Now...
I'm an amateur tiler and need to stick up 20 tiles in my bathroom. I've got some Mapei keraquick left over from before but it's old - about 12 months. Shall I chuck it out and just spend 20 quid on a new bag, or use up what's left?
Apologies for my lack of tiling knowledge.
Hello Tile Gurus :)
I have already laid about 35m2 of 600x600 porcelain tiles onto a very dry (2 years drying time) anhydrite screed. I used Mapei Keraquick with a notched trowel and allowed 2 months before turning on wet UFH. The were solid as a rock.
Within days of having the heating on...
