That raimondi will be a winner, where did you get it? I use a bal trowel with the same pattern pretty much and it gives total coverage very easily indeed. Uses some gear tho:

Got it in the plumbers/builders merchants where I buy most of my addy etc. You're right about it getting through some gear!

why would anyone not want to use 110 anyway, it beggars belief especially when so many of you folk are paranoid about dust etc.....

The wattage describes the power of a tool, so a 110v 500 watt drill is just as powerful as a 220v one.

What you do have to watch is the current. In a nutshell the 110v tool will take twice as much current as the equivalent 220v one. The more current the greater the voltage drop in the cable, so you should use shorter/thicker cables. Not using the correct cable will reduce the voltage at the tool, making it appear less powerful.

110v is safer. The live of a 220v supply is 220v volts with respect to earth, so if you touch a live and say a water pipe at the same time you will be zapped with the full 220v.

The 110v is in fact 2 55v supplies connected together to give 110v. The common connection is connected to ground, so if you touch one of the conductors and ground you'll only get 55v across your body.

phone call of the day,
former owner of battipav 160 says:
hey antonio, do you accept an exchange?
about what? give me back the BATTIPAV 160,
and I give you my new sigma 128 ........ 🙁
I replied: no thanks.
come on!!!!
give me € 100 difference and that's enough !!!
not even for 50 €, I do not exchange.
Hello.

Doesn't really have to be "accurate" though if you just use it to transpose measurements ( I know that's a bit of an oxymoron..)

No your absolutely right Paul, and that’s the way I intend to use it.
Just nice to know it is, well, ya know. 🙂
