How many tile shops in the UK

Just wondered if anyone knew how many tile shops are in the UK? Before I was trying to find a tile I never knew there was so many.

Sorry Bunny, I was reading thread title, how many tilers in UK. Not tile shops. As Dave says thousands. But if you meant Tilers, hundreds of thousand. But all the best one's are on this site

LOL I am sure only the best are on here. I was talking about tile shops, I looked on Yell and there are 2385 listed in yell under " Tile Suppliers"

This includes tilers and tile shops, so not that many then?

not everybody advertises in Yell.. it might be worth looking in the free papers and free ads too.
