best way to tile down to vinyal flooring ?

i am tiling from top to bottom of the bathroom walls and then having lino/vinyal (some call it either but its from Carpet Right and its the flexible rubber stuff not the hard stuff, its soft under foot like a carpet).

whats the best way to make a neat edge from the tiles to the vinyal flooring?

i want to try and steer away from Silicon as over time it looks bad.

i was thinking of using a normal tile trim all the way around the bottom of the tiles as they hit the floor or is there any other trim specific for the job?

the floor will be put down first and i will seal around the edges so no water can get onto the floor before i get the walls tiled?

do you think this will work ok?

You can get vinyl to tile base trims

Used a few on altro wet floors

I presume you are not returning the flooring up the wall to form a skirting ? So the tile is to meet the floor ? Then try Genesis Genesis APS International Ltd - Products - PVC Trim -

Yes I will be tiling down to the floor without with no vinyl skirting up the wall.

What size spacers would you recomend? The tiles are 400x 300?

Also the edges of the tiles have white on them . Does this mean I have to use white grout? The tiles themselves are ceramic travertine effect?

2mm for me.. and probs white grout if the edges are like that,,

Sorry if the spelling is bad ! Getting used to the iPhone.

Which is the best grout to use? As mepi white looks grey according to some google searches. There is a shower in the room too. Will 10kg do 18sqm at 2mm

try bal microflex its a lot whiter then the mapei white
