I asked topps for acrylic primer and they sold me - BAL Bond. Is this the correct one? I'm using it to seal plasterboards around a bath. Im assuming its SBR, but it just says BAL BOND on the 1 litre bottle. Also if this is the correct one, will i need to dilute it before i apply it.

Not to savvy with BAL stuff, but it should say on the bottle where you can apply it and how 🙂

bal bond sbr is acrylic, and does need diluting onto plasterboard, one fine coat 3-1 is fine for bucket (water dispersal )adhesive.Cement based adhesive however need a couple of coats at 2-1 or more coats until it shines like polished plaster. hope this helps regards Gaz

BAL bond sbr is a polymer-synthetic primer/sealer/dustproofer as well as bonding agent for slurry coats and bonding additive in concrete or plaster..

BAL apd is an acrylic primer/sealer/dustproofer.. just used for priming and sealing.....
