I have the old stock no more ply down unprimed. (Their new stock comes pre-primed).

Mapei suggested using Primer G before tiling with keraflex maxi s1. They did not recommend using SBR for some reason. Why might that be?

What is the correct dilution of primer G to use on no more ply?

The bottle says dilute between 1:1 and 1:3 (primer:water).

What is the purpose / effect of diluting and how does it help the adhesive bond?

Do I need to prime it at all as the tiles might stick better without a layer of primer in between?
