Do they maybe need running in a bit Neale? I put a DNA on my grinder last week and thought it was pants compared to the pro-gres, chipping really badly, gave it a good run today on some polished porcelain and its cutting as sweet as a nut.
Dont think so Bri, I did do a few more cuts but all the same result. The turbo blade felt as if it was rubbing its way through..hard going where as the continuous rim went through quicker and Monti flew through in comparison.
Disappointing, but thanks for the review Neale.
Is a turbo blade not really suitable for Porcelain Alan? Always bought them as they were dearer so I assumed better on porcelain, but interestingly the Monty DNA isn't 'turbo'. Have an Addax blade on at the minute, and a Tryolit porcelain blade before that. Neither are anything special so will go for the Pro Gres next time I think.
