Just finished my first epoxy job (likotol starlike) this morning, not the easiest stuff to work with, went at it really hard thinking the stuff was going to go off quick, 3 hrs later no sign of it going off, is this normal?
Just looked at the whisk in my van and the stuff is the same as when I mixed it 5 hrs ago, a little concerned now.

Normally starts to go "off" fairly quickly though it can take sometime to harden/cure fully (a day or 2 for BAL easy poxy). Temperature will have an effect but I would have expected after 5 hours it would certainly have been unworkable. What did the instructions supplied with it say?

Customer supplied it, mixed it as per instructions but i would have thought it would have gone off rapidly, very slow indeed.
Just hope it's ok tomorrow, had enough of this job now, really dragged out with one thing and another.

It will have gone in the morning

just be careful not to walk on it to much for 48 hours as if its not set it will trap dirt as grumpy said it should of started to turn check expirary dates on containers :8:

Ok this morning, whisk in van not set but in the ensuite they have gone off, cleaned them up, now looking smart. Thanks

Was it epoxy grout or epoxy adhesive? Used to work with epoxy adhesive quite a bit and left it overnight to dry.

I regurlarly use litokol starlike epoxy its very easy to use and does have an extended setting time this allows for a final clean down of the residues with the litonet cleaner the following day ,much the same as the bisazza epoxy and shine cleaner
