White Porcelain large format - few questions about tiles

Hi,

I've been hunting around for white porcelain tiles for my bathroom (just over 2 m2). and found this website, hope you don't mind me asking a couple of questions.

I have seen some 'super white' ones at a very good price, so just thinking about the quality. I'll order a sample to check before I commit to a full order.

Can anyone recommend any other suppliers that have white porcelain tiles, preferably around lancs/north west (to save on delivery)?

Been reading a few posts about cleaning the wax and sealing. Can they be bought ready sealed? A tiler will be doing the job for me, so just wondering how much time would this add onto a job? I'm thinking I might prep the tiles myself?

Wasn't trying to advertise, inadvertently or otherwise, but was looking for help. I've never bought tiles from that supplier and know nothing about them, just found them on the net. I'm not a tiler so was hoping someone here might know about them.

Tile Giant have the tiles I'm looking for, but are more expensive. Are tilers able to get discounts there?

If you can get a quote from the other supplier for the same tiles, there's no harm taking the quote to Tile Giant and asking if they can price match. I'm sure they'll consider it rather than letting you go and buy from a competitor.

Are you a tiler? If not then you wont and should not get the discounts that we do.

Tile Giant will do as much as they can to help you.

We have a Super White Polished porcelain available for under £20 a SQM. Unlike some other companies, ours is pre-sealed so does not require sealing. It is as white as a polished porcelain can be and very good quality.

Actually you didnt actually explain that you wanted more than the 2m2 did you? Yes I am against clients asking for a discount on a mere 2m2 of basic white porc tiles, because its the poor tiler that has to do all the phone calls, and then go and do the leg work in his own van...and is he getting paid for doing this pre-tiling work...........no he is not.

I rest my case.
