which trowel ?

I am about to tile a splashback area with the tile described below, any advice/opinion on best trowel to use

I'd personally try a 8mm square notched trowel. Always best to remove a tile after fixing and se what sort of coverage you're getting on the back of the tile as well. Then adjust accordingly if needed

He's doing a splash back, not a floor. I'd use a 6mm square notch on those tiles, use a grout float to get them flat after setting them into the adhesive.

get yourself a mosaic 3-4mm lots of teeth, the 6mm trowel might be a bit big

As Bri, I would stick them up with a 6mm.
They are 10mm thick so using a 6mm will be perfect.

I'm with Houston too, 4 mm trowel for me. Mosaics are all about the prep, there is no building out (as they say) with mosaics, you simply tile to the mercy of the wall, it will either bite you on the bum if you don't have the right prep or the they go on very easily. Best advice I can give is assess them flatness of the wall with a straight edge (1200) , try and see any hump dorm dips the address these with some rapid set. Best of luck

just compare the teeth on each trowel, never used 6mm on those mosaics and never will
