What Dry Cutter & Wet Cutter do you own

Just wondering what you use for a dry and wet cutter.....

Ill start. ive got a rubi 40 and a rubi 60 star. also got a plasplug wet saw (Dont like it)only paid 30 notes from B&Q[/FONT]

genesis 600 and rubi pocket(great little cutter but found you need to put tape on breaker as it marks tiles.

was thimking of getting a cheap rail cutter from Topps. are they worth it. what sort of projects do you use rail cutters on

just dont like the plasplug. its not the big pro one. just find it cheap. might invest in the plasplug mastertiler from Tradetiler

I was looking thru the web recently and saw 1.2m bench saw nearly £3000 ouch

rubi ts 40 rubi ts 70 plus. mind you having trouble with breaking the porcelain on the 70. Mastertiler wetsaw.Just use workmate to put cutters on and bathboard in tiny bathrooms, frees up precious floorspace.:yes:

I keep meaning to upgrade my small cutters but while they do the job I need, I don't see the point to be honest.

So do you think its worth investing in a plasplug mastertiler. Thought Plasplug was crap

Tysfoot, dont discount the Plasplug wet cutters, i have been using them for years. I have the large one (DW180 i think) , it will pay to replace the original blade with something a lot better like the Macrist wheels if you are cutting harder tiles. For the normal ceramics it will be fine.

I use a gennesis 600. seems to do the job great.I also use a Draper aluminium collapsable platform from screwfix.Perfect to sit the cutter on .
