Hi , I am currently doing a large floor area up , 300 sqm approx.

i have polished porcelain 60x60 tiles and I am considering using 1mm spacers , do you think that would be OK ?

also

the tiles are like ivory/white colour - i am considering using epoxy grout but what are the main benefits of it?

does it stop discolouring ? if i was to use white or ivory grout ?

as i know it is advised to use a darker color grout on floor as it can get dirty quiet easily.

would any other grout be advised?

any advice will be highly appreciated.

Grouting that large floor with epoxy might take some time. But if you're okay with that, then epoxy is never going to discolour. I believe even neat bleach won't bleach most epoxys.

floor that size min joint size I would use would be 3mm
you said cement boards are they on top of a wooden floor and is it joists or floating?

Standards denote 3mm on floors.
I've done less on a number of occasions. Variables would determine if I was happy doing so though.
300sqm, no way. 3mm minimum and expansion joints in too.

300sqm of 600x600, overboarding a timber floor with a backer, sounds like a nice job though. Won't be cheap mind to do it right, I wouldn't want that falling on me!!
