Hi
I have just started tiling I am trying to cut my tile with the wet cutter and it keeps shattering. What am I doing wrong. Many thanks.

if your not feeding the tile into cutter straight the back of the blade will hit the tile on the upward motion and break the tile

Get yourself a good radial dry cutter for ceramic and porcelain tiles, makes life much easier, The problem you are having will be caused by you twisting the tile as you run it in to the wet saw blade

Concept PHT

Offer the tile to the blade and put it through slowly and carefully so that you dont twist the tile on the blade.
