Serenissima Moonstone Verde Floor tiles

Hi,
Just wondered by any chance does anyone recognise this tile (See attachments) they are Serenissima Floor tiles called Moonstone Verde and they are about 5 - 6 years old and they measure 31.5 cm x 31.5cm x approx 7mm thick. I only need one or even two but a box would be good for spares. If you can’t help, perhaps you could suggest where I might be able to get them?
Many thanks
Midge.
Great site by the way.

Sorry can't help you with tiles.

It looks like the picture is taken in your kitchen, can I ask if you have looked behind the kicker boards (also called plinth). When ever I fit a kitchen I always leave spares behind the kicker board / under the kitchen units. You may be lucky and find the person who installed your floor did the same.

No such luck I’m afraid – I found one spare tile in the garage when we moved in, along with a few other odd tiles from the house. Unfortunately, I need at least one more tile if I am to repair a leaking heating pipe in our hall. I’m just hoping someone might have a spare one hidden away somewhere – thanks for your reply.

How about popping up the odd tile here and there and inserting a mosaic inset pattern tile. This will give you a choice to use the single tile as a replacement and add a new look to the floor...

Thanks for that, it certainly is an option though I’m not sure it would work given that our porch, hall and dining room are all the same tile. I know what you’re thinking, only one spare tile for 3 rooms – yes it’s mad isn’t it! :mad2:
Many thanks

Are you saying their is a problem with the pipe under the floor? Have you got a photo of the leaking pipe? I'm sure I could suggest a way of fixing the leak without the need for the floor to come up.

Hi, thanks for the offer, but unfortunately the only way I can fix the leak is by wrecking one tile and digging up the concrete floor underneath – I am 99.9% certain that there is a leaking tee piece there, which I could fix very easily. The only other alternative is to re-pipe the whole leaking circuit but that will involve a lot of disruption and exposed pipe work with consequential boxing-in afterwards. It seems that I have been the victim of a double whammy, a foolish previous owner who only kept one spare tile for 80 sq yard floor coverage and a useless pipefitter whose work has already required a lot of attention. I suppose I should explain that I have been in the world of Plumbing/Heating for nearly 40 years so you can imagine that I have well and truly considered the pipe work options. At the end of the day, I either fix the leak or I re-pipe the circuit, it’s very frustrating to know that just one tile would very likely get me out of trouble – hopefully someone will come up trumps for me.
Many thanks
Midge

Thanks for your help - i rang them today but they have only been dealing with Serenissima for about a year and my tiles are about 5 years old.

Thanks anyway,
Midge
