Safety Boot recomendations

[On one]

As another pair of (expensive) safety boots seem to biting the dust,with less than 9 months wear out of them(again).
I bought cheap,Ive bought expensive,waterproof,trainers,big brands.......all seem to end up the same way.
Is it because of the trade we are in, causing them to disintegrate ????
What are you all wearing?.....Any recommendations?

From September we have to have metatarsal protection and Haix don’t do a boot with that 🙁
I’m on the search now for a good compliant boot.

I think its the constant stand, kneel motion that kills them in our trade.

I use these, cheapish but comfy and wear well. But then again I only work domestic, wear shorts 6 months of the year and never work so they suit me 😀

Recently started wearing Karrimor walking boots for work...admittedly not steel toe caps but very light, flexible and waterproof and good ankle support

@Adey1980 go for the no fear skater shoes from sports direct . Little bit more than cheap trainers but last much longer and got a big fat tongue for your instep when your kneeling . Also they last longer

I too,mainly do domestics. But still wouldn't take the risk with trainers. Not worth the risk of dropping a box of tiles or an errant grinder wheel doing some damage.

Just bought a pair so hopefully no more work!
Think these have metatarsal protection @LEE MAC if it is the plastic bit at the end of the lace to stop it fraying? Go get a pair!

Disaster. They cracked on the sides, both shoes. Two months. 😡😡. For 60 quid. They went back.

Mine are completely filthy (very comfy still) but I have a shiny pair of these for "best": (and for walking boots)
