Plank tiles setting out

Plank tiles 120x20

On the kitchen they shall be laid across the length of the floor but unsure whether I should lay them across the length or width inside the living room

I was thinking as the kitchen side is being laid length ways i should lay them across the width so they follow the same orientation as the kitchen

Keen to get your thoughts

No turn it 90° and run them with the length of both areas.

I'm with you on that I'd have gone that way too 👍 try throw the lines width way in the living room than make it seem skinnier and longer

I always think running the tiles with the longest length of the room looks better.

We're also having a 2 metre long kitchen island installed which will be 900mm wide
