Plank tiles 120x20

On the kitchen they shall be laid across the length of the floor but unsure whether I should lay them across the length or width inside the living room

I was thinking as the kitchen side is being laid length ways i should lay them across the width so they follow the same orientation as the kitchen

Keen to get your thoughts

I always think running the tiles with the longest length of the room looks better.

just saying, but what do I know...:)

Just cause it’s your birthday we don’t have to agree!
I’d go as original - all the same way and across the room.
Or try it herringbone!
