Newbie from Stirling saying Hello

Hi just thought I would put my first post on and say hello to all the guys on here.I am a painter and decorator to trade and over the years have done a bit of everything in the building trade but recently,ie the last 5yrs, I have started doing more and more tiling jobs along with the decorating, and a lot of joinery work , seems people would rather get it all done at the same time from the same person rather than having to shop around for estimates and use different companys etc,not complaining though just glad of the work. Anyhow just like to say this forum is brill and wish I had found it before now as it might have saved me some headaches with some of the tiling jobs i,ve done in the past,still nice to know that help and advice is at hand Cheers from Allan

Hi Allan and welcome,seems like multi-tasking is the way to go.Im a plasterer and also do some blockwork and roofing .I have done a little tiling and with the help of the forum will soon have the tools ,some know how and the cohonees to have a go at some proper tiling jobs,best of luck.

Hi bud, nice to know i have a neebour fae stirling,might be able to put some work your way as I have just done a customers house who just happens to be building 37 units at bandeath industrial estate and was told they will be finished at xmas and has offered me the contract,bit to much work to be doing by myself,so will see how it goes when they are finished and ready to get tiled,will let you know nearer the time if your interested.
