Nano Wax

Hi all I'm new to rulers forum just need advise on a job I'm currently doing its 50 m of polished porcelain 600x600 it's says or sealed with nano wax I just wanted to know can I grout straight on top or do I have to use a degreasing agent to remove as advised by selco

Do they advise you remove it before or after grouting?, if you remove it ,will your grout contaminate the face of the tile? If you don't remove it first , have you tested you can remove it? Test!!

Yea they said u should remove then grout then seal which don't sound to clever but it's white grout on white porcelain image.jpeg

I would still test on a spare, removal ,plus your grout release on the cleaned back spare , seen plenty contaminated white on white, - you get a shadow banding!! Hopefully someone will be along shortly that have fitted these ,without issue

Nice view !!!

Is it just me that thinks it's a shame the heating pipes weren't put into the floor before it was tiled.
Floor looks good though!

As a rule now, we try and advise sealing all polished FB Porcelain. Even though some manufacturers say they're pre-sealed, you don't know what with or whether it was only temporary for transit purposes and will only see you through to grouting. As an example, after a few complaints, we found out that one of our ex suppliers has been sealing their tiles........ with duck fat!!! Yeah, mop that with a good de-greasing floor cleaner and see what happens!

You will do absolutely no harm in applying an additional coat of something like the LTP MPG. Better to have ones posterior covered I say.
